MESOTHELIOMA TYPES

Mesothelioma is not just lung cancer, the process starts from the chest or abdominal cavity lining and affect the organs contained in the lungs, heart and reproductive organs.

While Mesothelium is the tissue layer for the cavity in the upper body. As in the pleura, the area around the lungs, it is multiple networks with the inner (visceral layer) lining of the lung itself and the outer (parietal layer) layer of the chest wall.

Mesothelioma is a condition of uncontrolled cell growth that caused layers thickened mesothelium and often produce a fluid that meets between the two wall layers.

There are three types of mesothelioma:
1. Mesothelioma pleural
fluid when the narrow cavity between two walls of mesothelium. So that the lungs resulting distress and shortness of breath. Other symptoms are cough, hoarseness and swallowing can be difficult. Common symptoms of mesothelioma are fever, decrease in body weight, and often tired.

2. Pericardial Mesothelioma
pericardial Mesothelioma affects the membrane surrounding the heart. 10% for the diagnosis of mesothelioma is pericardial variant, so it can be said of this rare disease. Researchers are still unsure about the cause, how can particles that were inhaled asbestos can get into the heart region.
Symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma is an irregular heartbeat, reduced stamina, coupled with pain in the chest. These symptoms are similar to symptoms of heart disease so that the diagnosis of pericardial mesothelioma are often ignored.

3. Peritoneal Mesothelioma
Peritoneal Mesothelioma attacking the membrane that lines the abdominal cavity, the peritoneum.
Mesothelioma peritonal theory explains that the tiny asbestos particles running through the bloodstream, or bring them to the wall of the stomach through the digestive tract. Could also be through food or beverages.
Mesothelioma Symptoms Peritonal is started with shortness of breath, cough will then be followed by a diagnosis.
